
School Arrival & Dismissal
School will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The building will open at 8:00 a.m. School will be dismissed
at 2:50 p.m. Students should not arrive at
school before 8:00 a.m. or remain after 2:50 p.m. unless they are
attending a school sponsored activity or unless arrangements have
been made in advance by a teacher or the school. Parents who
bring children to the school should immediately place the student
with an adult supervisor and then exit the building. Parents
who are picking up their children after school should wait at the
north wall of the gym for their children. All hallways and
lobbies must remain clear during arrival and dismissal times.
STUDENTS SHOULD NEVER LEAVE THE SCHOOL
BUILDING OR SCHOOL GROUNDS DURING SCHOOL HOURS WITHOUT THE
PERMISSION OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OR THE TEACHER.
Attendance
Parents are encouraged to call the school office to report their
child's absence by 8:45 a.m. Parents who do no call must be
contacted by the school to verify the absence. This is to
insure the safety of the absent student. We will strictly
enforce attendance rules. If your student must leave during
the school day, please send a note to notify the school. You
must come to the office to sign out your child.
Physicals
All students must have a current physical and up-to-date
immunizations on file with the school. State laws also require
that Kindergarten and 5th grade students have a new physical.
These requirements will be enforced. All students who plan to
participate in a sport (including cheerleading & Pee-Wee) must have
a current sports physical. 5th grade students need not obtain
a separate sports physical.
Lunch & Breakfast Money
The prices of lunches for students will be $1.50 for students and
$1.75 for adults. Reduced lunches will be $.40. Extra
milk may be purchased at lunch for $.25 per carton. The price
of breakfast will remain at $.50 for students and $.75 for adults;
reduced breakfast will remain at $.30. Free and reduced meal
applications are available.
Lunch money is to be paid on FRIDAYS only. Put your child's
money into an envelope and label with the student's name.
When any student's lunch bill reaches $25.00, that student will not
be permitted to eat breakfast or lunch until the bill is settled.
In an emergency, lunch money can be sent on a daily basis until the
bill is settled.
Book Rental
Book rental will be $25.00 for all students. A student is
eligible for a fee waiver when they qualify for free or reduced
lunch.
